(reply back and answer the following)

(1) Name & contact information, including phone number & e-mail address, company, physical address, etc.

(2) If you are a hosted e-mail or MX Gateway filtering provider, what is the approximate number of mailboxes/users that your use of the invaluement DNSBLs will protect if/when you decide to officially subscribe? (3) If your product or solution protects spam on others' networks (such as spam filtering software or filtering appliances) what is the # of commercial installations (and # of consumer-oriented installations)?

(4) What type of access do you require:

(a) RSYNC to rbldnsd-formatted files (RECOMMENDED!)
...OR..
(b) RSYNC to (dns) bind-formatted files

(5) What IP address should be granted permission for your RSYNC client to access the lists? (and a backup IP is welcome)

(6) Are you involved in the operation of another DNSBL or anti-spam tool? If so, please describe.

(7) BTW: If you don’t mind answering, how did you learn about the invaluement lists?

Why
Not Free?

Most DNSBLs are free. The invaluement lists require a subscription for access. Some may wonder why this isn’t free like many others. Here are some reasons why...

There is a whole huge graveyard of “dead” DNSBLs. A common pattern is where the individual who started the DNSBL eventually found it to be a huge time drain and, therefore, that DNSBL operator burned out and quit. By requiring subscription payments, this allows PowerView Systems to focus on this effort and not get into a financial situation where we cannot afford to maintain the lists anymore. We are committed to not join that graveyard.

Guess what... some of the DNSBLs you thought were free are really not. Many of them cut off access after certain usage levels are reached. Then they often charge considerably more for access than the invaluement DNSBLs. In contrast, by making everyone pay, we are able to keep our price for access very reasonable.

We catch the harder-to-catch spams that other DNSBLs miss. This is NOT easy. And this makes our subscription price worth every penny.

Our hard work and time-consuming efforts reduces our subscriber’s level of hard work, saves them time, and brings them more revenues and market share. This is deserving of compensation and pays for itself many times over. Why spend much more time and more money fighting battles with many series of spam that the invaluement lists have already fought and won?
