Branded the “invaluement Anti-Spam DNSBL”, this is actually three separate DNSBLs which are only available to paying subscribers via RSYNC.

Direct queries to these lists will always fail, but subscribers pay a single (monthly or yearly) fee for RSYNC access to all three invaluement DNSBLs, with a choice of either rbldnsd-formatted or BIND-formatted zone files.

IN-NETWORK PRICE LIST: The following is our price list for those who will use the invaluement lists to protect against spam on their own network. This includes hosted e-mail and MX gateway anti-spam solutions. This is the price list that applies to most ISPs and hosters:

NOTICE (as of 11/10/08): Monthly payments via PayPal is now only an option for those with a payment of at least $100/month. Others with a lower monthly fee still have the option to pay via PayPal on a quarterly basis.

OUT-OF-NETWORK PRICE LIST: The following prices apply to subscribers who distribute anti-spam software programs, or hardware appliances, which defend against spam on someone else’s network:

• $0.15/month per commercial appliance/software distribution (NOTE: This is per actual installation, not per customer. Therefore, if a potential subscriber has 2,500 anti-spam appliance boxes used by 2,000 customers, the 2,500 figure is used to calculate the price.)
• $0.03/month per consumer-oriented software distribution

NOTICE: Beginning 2/1/2009, there will be a substantial price increase for the OUT-OF-NETWORK subscriptions. Anyone who has subscribed prior to that time will be grandfathered into the previous pricing as long as (a) they were paying 'regular' OUT-OF-NETWORK prices --OR-- (b) their pricing is contractually established.

For either price plan, subscribers can pay either yearly or monthly. The yearly subscription includes a 10% discount. Additional restrictions apply, particularly if you administer a DNSBL. Also, there is a $100/month minimum for OUT-OF-NETWORK subscriptions.

What if a potential subscriber has solutions which apply to both price lists, IN-NETWORK and OUT-OF-NETWORK? Such a subscriber would calculate each situation independently and then pay the combined total. Also, the $100/month minimum for OUT-OF-NETWORK subscriptions is applied after these two figures are added together.

Obtaining a subscription to the invaluement.com DNSBLs
(reply back and answer the following)

(1) Name & contact information, including phone number & e-mail address, company, physical address, etc.

(2) If you are a hosted e-mail or MX Gateway filtering provider, what is the approximate number of mailboxes/users that your use of the invaluement DNSBLs will protect if/when you decide to officially subscribe? (also include your spam filtering customer’s users if applicable... basically, every mailbox which benefits from your use of this product should be included in the total)

(3) If your product or solution protects spam on others' networks (such as spam filtering software or filtering appliances) what is the # of commercial installations (and # of consumer-oriented installations)?

(4) What type of access do you require:

(a) RSYNC to rbldnsd-formatted files (RECOMMENDED!)
...OR..
(b) RSYNC to (dns) bind-formatted files

(5) What IP address should be granted permission for your RSYNC client to access the lists? (and a backup IP is welcome)

(6) Are you involved in the operation of another DNSBL or anti-spam tool? If so, please describe.
